A professional services firm in Pennsylvania is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new R&D Tax Associate. In this role, the R&D Tax Associate will be responsible for identifying, calculating, and documenting R&D Tax Credits across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
The R&D Tax Associate will:
- Work with the R&D Tax Credit team to prepare and learn to review R&D Tax Credit calculation and supporting documentation
- Assist in performing multiple projects simultaneously, including taking notes during client interviews, preparing computations and analysis, and data gathering
- Help drive the success of multiple R&D engagements
- Complete research and special projects as needed
- Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Ensure professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a professional setting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Hard Science (e.g., chemistry, physics, biology), or Computer Science
- An interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong atteniton to detail
- Highly organized
