100 + year old manufacturer of disposable paper products is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our growing team. We are located in a beautiful business park in Coppell.
This position will oversee the Quality Department in all areas including audits, processes, standards, systems, and training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Quality Supervisor will oversee the Quality Department to ensure the manufacturing processes comply with standards.
- Work with staff to implement and maintain procedures, standards, and systems.
- Responsible for annual 3rd party audits to ensure company keeps a top-rated score.
- Ensure all annual quality meetings with employees are completed on time.
- Act as a catalyst for improvement.
- Record, analyze, and distribute statistical information.
- Interact with other departments on quality issues.
- Address customer complaints and correction actions.
- Monitor production employees to ensure they are following quality standards.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Technical background in specifications and process improvement of quality programs.
- Certification in HACCP required.
- Certification or experience in SQF required.
- Experience with internal and external SQF audits.
- Food packaging standards experience preferred.
- Mathematical proficiency.
- Interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
- Good work history required.
