Currently based in Chelmsford MA, we are experiencing record sales and are preparing to move into a brand-new facility in Haverhill, MA in the November 2022 timeframe.

Haverhill offers beautiful sights and is located half-way between the City of Boston and the beautiful New England Seacoast (cityofhaverhill.com) (haverhillchamber.com).

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Quality Engineer that can apply their quality toolbox to accurately identify issues, determine appropriate corrective action and effectively execute solutions for our product lines.

What you will do summarized:

Develop and monitor metrics, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and analyses.

Work with other functions to ensure that performance and product quality from internal and Contract Manufacturers conforms to established company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• B.S. in a technical discipline is required with 3-5 years of professional work experience related to the requirments of this position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly with a strong analytical ability and high level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
• You are good with working independently and have the scheduling flexibility necessary to support an international contract manufacturing model.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% Domestic and International
• You can demonstrate the application and appropriate use of statistical methods and tools (such as D.O.E, Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, Gauge R&R, Statistical Process Control, Capability analyses etc.).
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting semiconductor manufacturing related to capital equipment products.

WOULD BE A+, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Certification in Quality Engineering/Auditing/Improvement, Six Sigma, or Lean
