Job description
CAHC is seeking a Quality & Data Specialist to become an integral part of our team of prof. They will analyze data and identify and implement opportunities to improve healthcare quality and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor quality improvement activities, and promote the improvement of quality measures while remaining in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Develop initiatives to promote best practices related to clinical measures, UDS, MIPS, HEDIS, Joint Commission Accreditation, and State Medicaid CPC
- Implement best practices that address health disparities and social determinants of health
- Update policies and standard operating procedures
- Implement a system for tracking and resolving patient and staff concerns, including risk management concerns
- Manages, collects, and evaluates data concerning patient incident reports, aggregates data summaries, and develops monthly and quarterly risk management reports that include trend analyses of incidents, claims, complaints, and profiles.
- Implement and maintain a program to support HRSA FTCA risk and other Federal, State, and local programs
- Analyze data to improve health care access, quality, and patient satisfaction (e.g. HEDIS, UDS)
- Complete UDS and other required reports, and interpret HEDIS measures
- Identify best practices that address health disparities and social determinants of health
- Utilize Epic, Azara, Excel and other EHR systems to extract data and lead initiatives to promote best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing or a related field and 3 years of experience working with healthcare quality initiatives and data management
- Generate reports and analyze data
- implement QA initiatives
- Experience using Epic and Azara strongly desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
