Peterson Cartridge Company manufactures brass rifle casings from its facility in Cranberry Township, just north of Pittsburgh, PA. We produce match-grade, rifle casings to the highest quality standards, for competitive shooting, hunting and military use.

Due to expansion, we need to hire a Quality Control Inspector / Inspection Machine Operator. Great benefits, 80 hours vacation, and 6 personal days! A clean, and friendly work environment, amazing employee's, in a 70 degree climate controlled work environment! Background with cameras, lasers, Inspection, calipers, micrometers, optics is a huge plus!

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5PM-3:30AM,

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Adhering to safety and environmental rules.
• Operating a Mectron Inspection Machine.
• Reading and interpreting plant procedures, and work instructions.
• Hand inspecting brass rifle casings for dimensional tolerances, and defects.
• Performing general housekeeping.
• Measuring dimensions of work-in-process and finished goods.
• Ensuring conformance to specifications.

Required Experience / Skills:

• One year Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience.
• No conviction record, PFA order against them, or anything else that would prevent them from purchasing or discharging a firearm.
• Able to pass a background check & drug test.
• High attention-to-detail; high conscientiousness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
