Overview:
Responsible for supporting the independent quality control testing and monitoring program within all areas of operations. Assignments include completing multiple quality control reviews simultaneously, report writing, tracking issue status, building reports, and writing quality control procedures. Successful incumbents will develop and leverage knowledge of quality control concepts, banking systems, and operations. Maintain an understanding of regulatory, legal and industry requirements and operating procedures for assigned areas. Remain knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements applicable to the assigned areas. Incumbents may be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of Fulton Bank credit reporting for loans and deposits to the major credit reporting agencies. May serve as the primary liaison with the major credit reporting agencies as well as the key internal resource for compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Responsibilities:

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be based within our 5 state footprint (DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA). Position is remote but will require occasional travel to our corporate headquarters in Lancaster, PA.

- Complete quality control testing and execute test procedures. Provide support to vendor responsible for completing quality control testing.
- Assess the effectiveness of controls and the root causes of potential issues and make recommendations to enhance control environment. Evaluate data and draft narratives for inclusion in management and board reporting. Perform validation testing for previously identified issues. Communicate quality control processes, objectives and scope of work with stakeholders.
- Track status of identified issues. Assist in preparation of reports of quality control results, findings and trends and report results to appropriate management.
- Establish processes, effective controls and monitoring, and identify and leverage automation to sample, review, validate and audit data provided to and sourced from multiple credit agencies to ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations and policies for loans and deposits. Identify errors, determine root cause, determine appropriate corrective action and advise internal and external staff accordingly, including the approval/denial of internal credit agency change requests; document all steps according to established processes and procedures.
- Support the bank’s FCRA compliance program by researching and resolving the more complex issues identified as a result of credit reporting issues or disputes. Maintain working relationships with credit reporting agencies and core system vendors.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business, Finance, or related field. (Required)
Experience
2 or more years mortgage or loan servicing, bank risk, compliance, or audit. (Required)
