Quality Assurance Representative Summary
:
Provide divisional consistency by supporting the Construction department to improve and maintain building processes from the “Tickled, Delighted and Happy” (TDH) experience through and with emphasis on construction quality.
Responsibilities:
  • Support all associates by reviewing all aspects of the home building process for each community to help make homeownership an extraordinary TDH experience.
  • Evaluate and review the quality of workmanship by evaluating homes at each community on a regular basis.
  • Support and build strong team relationships.
  • Review the NHO Report for each community daily and help achieve the division standard in construction quality.
  • Take photographs for training and evaluation purposes of excellent examples of good work and of areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the Zero-Defect Closing process.
  • Perform QC on all communities or as directed.
  • Perform final inspections on all homes in each community to ensure items noted have been completed prior to closing.
  • Review QC Program and suggest improvements.
  • Achieve substantial improvement in the customer satisfaction ratings as set forth by the division.
  • Facilitate training within the division on an as needed basis.
  • Promote goodwill between departments and division associates.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Two (2) year of minimum experience in a customer care/service role
  • Homebuilding experience not required, but preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of construction knowledge, products, and processes
  • Driving to various communities required
  • Ability to review construction plans for compliance in all phases of home building process
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • General overall departmental procedures
  • Valid, unrestricted Motor Vehicle License
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Comply with and implement company policies and procedures
  • Accept constructive criticism
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player
Physical Requirements :
Require the ability to work in excess of eight hours if needed, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read building plans, climb stairs, bend stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Finger dexterity will be required to operate an iPad/computer keyboard and calculator.

  • The median* base compensation for this position is estimated to be $34.67 per hour, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors including employee qualifications, geographic location, and operational considerations.
