Quality Assurance Manager:

The Software Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for managing a team of QA Analysts. The Software QA Manager will assign responsibilities, enhance processes, and provide oversight of the team responsible for ensuring best in class software quality on Digital Menu Board projects. The ideal candidate will build a best-in-class QA team to enhance QA practices including, but not limited to, process improvements, tool enhancements, and automation.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Plan and drive execution of functional, component, and automated testing of digital menu board applications for multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Establish and enhance a level of effort estimation process that spans across all project teams and releases.
  • Own the creation, maintenance, and execution of QA project schedules.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, in addition to continued hiring of a best-in-class QA team.
  • Produce a concise and clear picture of product quality for each project.
  • Set employee goals, facilitate continued education and improvement, and provide guidance and procedures that set analysts up for success.
  • Maintain ownership of QA Test Labs and Equipment.
  • Identify opportunities and technologies for QA automation.
  • Develop and execute a plan to implement automation, including personnel training.
  • Perform other duties, as requested

BASIC & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g.: Engineering, Computer Science, or in a similar discipline) is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of diversified experience working in a complex environment required.
  • At least 2 years of recent leadership experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to motivate, organize, and inspire the team Excellent verbal and written skills with the proven ability to detail and convey findings in a concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, preferably with a highly risk-adverse mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
