Overview:
The Quality and Standards Specialist plays an important role in driving cross-department success. A Quality and Standards Specialist is responsible for upholding high standards for all departments as they relate to site assessment, design, permitting, field operations and the Net Metering Team. Key metrics of success revolve around quality, throughput, and cycle time. The Quality and Standards Specialist is expected to own their performance in both quality and volume. Performance and throughput will be monitored and reviewed utilizing reporting, which will be fully transparent to anyone in the organization.
A Quality and Standards Specialist is required to perform job duties inclusive of but not limited to the following:
  • Achieve minimum baselines and goals as defined in the Quality Cash Program.
  • Produce maximum throughput, quality, and cycle time results.
  • Support the development of processes and infrastructure (Database, for example) to support the above outcomes.
  • Own internal (Sales Rep, Branch, etc.) and external (Building Department, Utility, etc.) feedback received.
  • Communicate in an effective manner with all stakeholders.
  • Participate in initiatives. Support effective changes and communication within the Quality Department and across other internal (other departments, for example) and external stakeholders (customers, for example).
  • Manage assigned project queues expediently.
  • Engage consistently in recurring team huddles.
  • Data driven.
  • Highly organized.
  • Leveraging Planner where applicable.
  • Monthly 1:1's with each Quality and Standards Lead.
  • Create a positive environment of accountability that promotes and celebrates moving fast, openness to change, and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross departmentally and interfacing with senior personnel
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent/related software
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or two years’ experience analysis or related field
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce Lightning
  • Preferred
    • Degree / certification in Construction Inspection, NABCEP, or related field

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
