Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Replenishment Planner. You will be responsible for working with planning ensure raw materials and packaging to meet orders demands. Daily, you will review inventory levels of production materials and order more when necessary to maintain our supply. We expect our Inventory Planner to document inventory properly and communicate well.

Replenishment/Inventory Planner Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Analyzing sales data, trends, and customer demands to create inventory forecasts.
  • Creating purchase orders for raw materials or components, based on production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that they remain within set parameters at all times.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials or components to meet production schedules
  • Developing plans for maintaining inventory levels, including determining how much inventory should be kept on hand and anticipating potential shortages
  • Reviewing orders and shipping schedules to ensure that they meet legal requirements regarding the safe transport of merchandise
  • Developing policies and procedures for inventory management procedures, including how to handle damaged goods or expired items
  • Communicating with suppliers about pricing changes or order status updates
  • Recommending improvements to inventory management systems based on past results

Replenishment/Inventory Planner Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing and material planning
  • in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)- preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 2-4 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
