Job description

We are seeking a PT Technician to work at our Guilford Orthopedics Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Helps with copying/printing of HEPs;

2. Provide general support to department staff;

3. Cleans and sets up clinical treatment areas and equipment with proper disinfectant after use, cleans laundry and linens and straightens/organizes clinic area;

4. Assists therapist with patient care as directed within the scope of job training provided;

5. Helps patients complete necessary paperwork;

6. Assists therapists with quick EMR records as needed;

7. Performs inventory of clinic supplies on a weekly basis and clinic equipment on a monthly basis and maintain an active record;

8. Performs other duties as assigned;

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 1 year experience in a physical therapy or medical facility preferred;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time;
• Some lifting and moving of patient’s;
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, reach, push and pull;
• Lift, carry up to 50 pounds;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
