Property Administrator (General Clerk) On-Call
Job description
- Complete inventory scanning of all decaled equipment at Ames Research Center on a yearly basis (the number of decaled items is approximately 19,000 items)
- Identify, manage and recommend business process management improvements
- As required, attend inventory meetings with account owners scheduled for inventory
- As required, assist property custodians in completing inventory scanning
- Responsible for identifying, categorizing, classifying, tagging all existing, newly acquired Center equipment
- Ensuring that proper documentation is completed for cannibalization requests
- Resolve inventory discrepancies, such as overages/underage’s with the account owners
- Coordinate with implementation of changes to existing workflows or applications
- Develop requirement plans and schedules with NASA property custodians
- Participate in the creation of training plans to implement new skills
- Manage changes to baseline requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent
- Extensive computer literacy of Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of basic property functions and knowledge
- Ability to work under deadlines and changing timeframes
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including company management and outside business associates
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; participate in determining objectives of assignment; plan, schedule, and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers
