What will I do in this role?

  • Follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • Establishes project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.
  • Determine project scope by studying design, project requirements, and performance standards.
  • Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Control project plan by reviewing schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Assures project installations follow company’s standards pertaining to aesthetics, workmanship and functionality.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Coordinate projects with the Maintenance Manager, Procurement/Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician-Lead and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform daily equipment and building maintenance to ensure proper functioning and operation while adhering to agreed upon standards, processes and systems.
  • Required to periodically work on other shifts to evaluate performance and training levels of each shift and to provide vacation backup when other technicians are off.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school with additional training in electrical theory and an understanding of AC/DC theory.
  • Requires two (2) years of maintenance experience in the application of AC/DC theory.
  • Requirements analysis, design skills, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures, process improvement, technical understanding, documentation, safety management and supervision skills required.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must understand people and be able to communicate and work effectively with them.
  • Ability to manage projects and time effectivity.
