The Project Manager II - Transportation Procurement Analytics is a role that is focused on using quantitative analytics and financial acumen to influence transportation decisions for the organization. This exciting opportunity will have the opportunity to work cross functionally across Supply Chain and will work primarily with Transportation Execution teams across the company. The role is in Bentonville, Arkansas and reports to the Senior Manager I - Transportation Procurement.

- Possess a high level of data literacy to be able to gather, consume, and analyze and provide visualizations and modeling of procurement data inputs and outputs
- Relationship Management - ability to build trust with external/external stakeholders
- Analytical Mindset - capable of making wide reaching and impactful financial and operational decisions supported by a technical aptitude to analyze,
- Possess an understanding of the Transportation Industry across multiple modes (Truckload, LTL, Rail, Parcel)
You'll make an impact by...
- Data Analytics - Provide analytical insights using historical data to inform decision making cost impacts in a meaningful way through simplified visualizations
- Drive Cost/Value - Engage with external providers to find ways to reduce cost and drive efficiency through RFP execution and 1:1 Negotiation opportunities
- Manage Carrier Relationships - Serve as a carrier liaison between Walmart and supplier base, providing a trusted source of engagement
