Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Software Product team. This position will be responsible for planning, managing, developing multiple projects and overseeing timelines/milestones for the delivery of Software as a Medical Device applications.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work with SaMD clients to understand their application needs and support providing creative solutions
- Experience working closely with systems and software engineers, QA, and other engineering team members to create high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (plan, build, test and release on time)
- Regularly report overall project status to management and key stakeholders, escalating major issues as necessary
- Proactively identify and help resolve issues hindering sprint completion
- Recognize areas for process improvement and formulate actionable plans to address such areas
- Experience working in Agile methodology preferred
- Experience in effectively managing scope, schedule and budget
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, or other related field of study
- 5+ years of Agile Project Management experience
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project
- Experience with cloud-based ecosystems (GCP preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
