2. Interpret, monitor, and analyze information regarding operating policies and procedures
3. Maintain compliance with established record release procedures, including Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
4. Assist with coordinating academic matters
5. Resolve problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department
6. Responsible for accurately performing academic data entry and verification within the College’s student data management system
7. Will exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
8. Will collaborate with the Registrar on developing automated processes for registration, records, graduation, etc.
9. Complete functional system and process testing of the PeopleSoft modules before implementation
10. Create eForms
11. Assist with graduation candidate verifications and communications
12. Assist with college catalog and course entry as needed
13. Assist with graduate registration and graduation as needed
14. Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior student records experience
- Work experience in higher education
- Knowledge of legal requirements and security needs of student records including FERPA
- Experience and knowledge working with PeopleSoft or other student information software
- Excellent computer and data entry skills as well as the ability to successfully communicate (verbally and in writing) with the public and internal as well as external constituent
- Detail oriented in review and data entry
- Knowledge and experience with web form and business logic workflow creation (PeopleSoft eForms & Workflow preferred).
