Built, Inc is an award winning Design/ Build firm located in West Hollywood, CA specializing in hospitality venues incuding restaurants, nightclubs and hotels.

We are looking for a Project Architect to join our team and help bring our projects to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and design, as well as experience in project management. We are looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for interpreting creative direction; oversee project assigned Interior Designer(s), Architect(s), Graphic Designer(s), and Studio Member(s) in the execution of design intent

-The ability to manage and develop medium to large commercial projects through Concept, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and Installation.

-Anticipate lead times

-Maintain responsive, timely and amiable relations with the client and all third-party specialists

-Ability to translate sketches and/or verbal discussions into proper design documents

-Produce and oversee architectural renderings, floor plans, elevations, and details

-Source architectural materials, finishes and vendors

-Extensive knowledge of Building, Zoning, Health, and ADA codes

-Permit coordination with the appropriate local agencies and third-party consultants

-Review and approve shop drawings

-Oversee the management of all vendors and subcontractors, review shop and millwork drawings, ensure creative engineering is cost efficient and timely, and deliver superior fabrication reflecting functionality and detailing

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience in residential, commercial and hospitality projects is necessary

Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Vray, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite - additional Revit experience is a plus.

Must be a US resident and located in Los Angeles

Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must be extremely well organized and resourceful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
