RAL Investment Corporation is looking for an out of the box thinker, ready to learn and grow in an exciting, fast paced environment, for an out of the box operation. Operating in the Construction space, we are a Company that is both a General Contractor and a Subcontractor on many Federal and Public Works contracts. We work in a variety of fields, including furniture installation, doors, frames, and hardware, and vertical and civil construction. This ensures a constant flow of excitement and interesting work, which requires a varied set of skills and energy.

This position is to cover duties within both divisions, Shore Total, and Silverstrand Construction. The role supports both divisions with similar responsibilities; however, there are various differences that will require a creative and versatile approach. This position must be able to engage with many teammates to produce a consistent and agreeable outcome to any assigned tasks, and must be able to be organized to handle a varied but generous workload on a consistent basis. The role has key duties as follows:

Contract (and Subcontract) review, issuance, and redline management;

Contract (and Subcontract) document control and submission;

Budget validation and confirmation;

Compliance validation and tracking;

Certified Payroll validation, compliance confirmation, and issue resolution;

Accounts Receivable submission (where compliance is involved) and tracking (after submission);

Accounts Payable validation for subcontractors;

Subcontractor engagement and management;

Delegation and engagement with team members that are in support of this position;

Process evaluation and evolution suggestions, understanding the cans and cannots of any situation;

Audit Support (as required by any compliance audits);

Highly valued skills:
Excel; Gmail; Google Docs/Drive; Budget Analysis; Cost Codes; Accounting Skills

Critical skills:
Organization - offline and online; Computer Savvy - we manage most tasks and document controls online, and candidates must be able to navigate Google Drive, Dropbox, etc in a fluid and efficient manner; Teammate - Engaging is critical. We employ Zoom for intercompany communication; availability and responsiveness are key to success. Follow-though - organization for follow-through to ensure task completion.

The career path is dependent on the motivation and energy of the person staffing this position; Risk and compliance management (the key functions for this position) are critical to the success of Company and this position has the opportunity to evolve to better solve risk within the organization the more value they provide by learning, growing, and engaging.

Experience is not critical to this position - however, the less experienced, the more a positive attitude is necessary to be willing to learn fast, engage a lot, and grow. Training is provided, but the less experienced the candidate, the more the candidate will have to take self-responsibility to research and learn the nuances of the position.
