Here’s the Gist:
The Wolfspeed Overmolded Power Modules team is looking for a self-driven and motivated, hands-on Program Manager to drive execution excellence of New Product Introduction (NPI) for our Power Modules product portfolio. The individual will work as part of a cross functional team consisting of R&D, Product Development, Product Engineering, Test, Qualification, Validation & Reliability, Operations and Marketing to develop next generation of SiC dies for the Automotive Overmolded Power Module market. A successful candidate will be a resourceful problem solver with excellent organizational and leadership skills who will be able to work around technical obstacles, implement practical solutions. He/she will successfully partner with Wolfspeed’s worldwide die and Power Modules design teams as well as project management and manufacturing organizations.
The Day-to-Day

Take responsibility for the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) for SiC dies used in the Overmolded Power Modules product line

Take ownership of development schedules, budgets, priorities, risk assessments and product quality & reliability targets

Utilize project management tools to define project scope, cost and schedule and ensure commitments are met. Revise plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements leveraging the appropriate processes.

Where processes do not exist, or can be improved, proactively drive change to ensure success of the project, the team and the business

Ensure that all disciplines work together to meet and/or beat the project goals. Collaborate across the Wolfspeed organization to coordinate all new technology certification activities

Collaborate with and influence external technology partners to meet project deliverables on time and on budget
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
-
BS in Engineering with 10 years + experience in a technology/product development environment

Knowledge of wide bandgap semiconductor devices and fab processes used to manufacture them

Knowledge of Automotive Quality & Reliability Standards and Requirements

Demonstrated success managing multiple development projects simultaneously in the semiconductor and/or packaging industry

Customers facing skills (both internal and external) such as tact, good listening, critical thinking and empathy
-
Experience working in a matrixed environment with the ability to influence and gain commitments without direct supervisor authority
