Salary: $65K-75K

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing employees.
• Oversees schedules and assignments for the department.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Support Quality Control and Quality Assurance for SOP improvements.
• Support Machine Installations, Commissioning, and General Maintenance.
• Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy and relevance.
• Managing, assisting and facilitating changeovers.
• Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
• Supervises equipment purchases, maintenance and layout.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or polymer engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial management.
• Previous experience in luxury vinyl tile leadership - profiling or UV departments preferred.
• Hands on experience with machinery

Additional Requirements:

• Organizational and managerial skills
• Thorough understanding of policies and practices used in the manufacturing pision
• Ability to trouble shoot machines and provide constructive design feedback
• Ability to work with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Engineering for Continuous Improvement
