PROFESSIONAL NANNY IN NEWPORT COAST - FULL-TIME 40 hrs a week - 2 year old girl

Wonderful Family in Newport Coast is looking for a spectacular Nanny for their 2 year old girl. Must have at least 4+ years as a Nanny and toddler experience. Background in daycares or preschools a plus! The ideal candidate is sweet, caring, and reliable. Understands Sensory play, arts and crafts, reading, teaching for toddlers. Baby sign language would be a plus! Teaching and learning through play is important to the family, the young girl is very bright. Also, the nanny must like to cook different dishes for the child for breakfast and lunch, and is comfortable cooking. Does not have to be a private chef level cook!

Schedule: Hours needed are Wednesday – Sunday 6am to 2pm - 40 hours a week - Paid sick days and Major Holidays off.

Professional Nanny Duties:

• Nany must have at least 4+ years experience as a Nanny for families long term
• Pay: $25-$30/hour
• Schedule: 6am - 2pm Wed thru Sunday - 40 hours a week - Must be ok with working on weekends!
• Must love to cook! Family would like someone who can cook different dishes for child - Breakfast and lunches - can follow recipes and feels comfortable cooking and preparing delicious meals. Doesn't have to be a private chef level cook.
• Nanny must be proficient in Sensory play and interaction with toddlers/babies. Singing and reading, engaging with children. Take baby on walks to parks. Help with learning and milestones. Understands sleep training. Montessori trained is wonderful!
• Educational Degree in Childcare is preferred
• Training with babies in Daycare/Preschools and Baby sign language a plus!
• Light Meal Prep and light Housekeeping for babies - Help with baby laundry, dishwasher loading, organizing toys and kids rooms, tidying, and sweeping.
• Nanny needs to be CPR Certified and trained
• Covid Vaccination Preferred but optional.
• Background Check will be performed.
• We require 2-3 References
