Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Carter to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10PM - 6:30AM.

New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $21.58; After 12 Months: $23.96

Position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift

JOB SUMMARY

• This position provides pick up and deliver for parts from department to department.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet Aerospace’s EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles;
• Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment;

• Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner;

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions

• Picks up and delivers products to individual departments. Transports products throughout plant.
• Audits route tickets to ensure that parts are distributed to the proper areas
• Performs simple maintenance checks on vehicle.
• May assist in the assembly of boxes or general utility work.
• Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
• Periodically helps on the shipping dock preparing shipments.
• Unload all received wax mold daily & staging of empty carts for Vendor return.
• Picking/Packing/Staging all outsource wax supplies for daily pick up.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Other Skills/Abilities

• Valid Driver’s License;
• Must be able to work flexible hours including night and weekends with little advanced notice as this position often requires daily and weekend overtime.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
