Trimlite is a manufacturer of decorative door-lites, stile and rail doors and a wholesale distributor of doors, millwork and building material related products to the building trade.

Position Summary:

The Pre Finish Production Associate reports to the Production Supervisor. The Production Associate is responsible for performing general labor a production tasks preparing/inspecting slabs for paint according to the customer’s specific requests.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand and follow work order / BOM.
• Prep door to ensure no imperfections are present.
• Operates sander, drills and other hand tools in an assembly line environment.
• Check door sales order and work order to ensure the correct frames and door are being prepped for installation.
• Responsible to ensure that all products meet the required standards of quality.
• Assists in supporting Safety Procedures and Policies.
• Assists in adhering to 5S and general shop housekeeping policies
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or management.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Able to stand long hours on hard surfaces, up to 8 hours per day.
• Thorough understanding of/ or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently.

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hand tools: 3 years (Preferred)
