Job description
- Repair Dossier Review for correctness of warranty application as it applies to LSL and either LLI or LTS.
- Maintain Out-of-Scope Repair logbook and coordinate with Shop Planners and Records department, regarding exchanges.
- Track workshop status for various in-house repairs / retrofits, both internal and external.
- Maintain and update applicable departmental databases that are used company wide.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal departments for proper implementation of upgrades / retrofits based on customer demands.
- Examine, and analyze Repair Dossier’s to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Perform analysis of Repair Dossiers as they relate to the aircraft removal for accounting and warranty personnel as required.
- Advise Technical Support Analyst about issues such as, but not limited to, improper warranty application, quoting errors, shop practices and shipping practices.
- Interpret Service Bulletin commercial conditions and be able to disseminate the information.
- Provide Customer Services Team with assistance as required.
- Maintain various department databases on a regular scheduled time frame.
Competencies
- High school diploma or GED (2-year college degree preferred) with 2-5 years of relevant position-related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- NOTE: Below skills / knowledge base / abilities will be developed with Guidance and Training from Technical Support Staff.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for detail-oriented work.
- Capable of working through potentially stressful situations.
- Complete tasks despite opposition or barriers.
- Strength in establishing priorities, working independent, and proceeding with objectives with limited supervision to meet company objectives.
- Understanding of technical documentation.
- Ability to problem solve.
- MS Office proficiency: Beginner to Advanced.
