You'll query and analyze Turquoise Health's transparency data to collaborate with the Product team to enhance our product suite and build features from the ground up. Responsibilities

As Product Solutions Engineer you'll…

Most of the time:

• Use SQL and/or other analytical languages to analyze payer-provider negotiated rates data for the purpose of building a robust suite of data and software products
• Work directly with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to build new features, and refine and iterate upon existing ones
• Deepen your understanding of Turquoise's product suite and customer use cases to find new opportunities for product builds
• Undertake special projects from the Product, Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success teams to ideate on features, push forward active deals and strengthen customer relationships

Some of the time

• Stay current on trends within the healthcare industry related to transparency legislation, payer-provider contracting, the cost of healthcare, and use cases for transparency data
• Be a shared resource for leadership and other departments, answer questions about the healthcare revenue cycle, our data, and upcoming updates to transparency legislation

Every now and then

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials to publish the insights you've gleaned during your time working with the data

Requirements

What you bring to the Product Solutions Engineer role:

• Strong SQL skills are a must. Experience with other analytical languages (Python/R) and BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI) is a plus.
• 3+ years of revenue cycle or healthcare consulting experience in a technical/analytical role
• In-depth knowledge of payer-provider contracting, hospital revenue cycle and factors contributing to the cost of healthcare
• A high standard for quality assurance of your own work product and the work product of other members of the team
• Ability to dive deep into massive datasets that may change significantly each month
• An analytical mind with the strong strategic ability and excellent organizational and communication skills
• A drive to put out consistently high quality/accurate work at a fast pace
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across seniority levels and functions

Salary

The salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $150,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and reflect the minimum and maximum salary across all US locations (note: salaries are location agnostic). Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization. Please note that the salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.
