VAS Line Coordinator

1st Shift 7a-3p and 2nd Shift 3p-11p
Starting pay $16.30

Reporting to the VAS Lead, this position’s primary focus will be to provide direction and support to line workers and participate as a line worker as needed. The VAS Line coordinator is responsible for the successful execution of VAS assignments and projects on a specific line or project while establishing an effective work flow, reviewing goals, and determining the line set up. The VAS coordinator provides training and assistance to the line workers.

Position Overview:
 Load, unload, pick, put-away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck or other power equipment
 Provides task assignments and works with the line workers to accomplish the goals of the individual production line and the VAS business requirements.
 Balance work stations for specific production line and shift resources as needed.
 Develop and directs plan of action for production line.
 Establishes priorities, makes key decisions on inventory rotation, manpower, and corrects paperwork errors.
 Moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting product,
 Perform manual lifting of product to fill orders and verify freight quantities
 Maintain company standards for safety, security, and productivity

Job Qualifications - Required
High School diploma or GED
 Prior experience providing direction preferred
 Strong communication skills needed
 Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
 Ability to delegate and hand out work assignments.
 Experience working in a process driven environment with a focus on quality
 Ability to work overtime during peak periods as required by supervisor
