Paramount is seeking a Product Designer who is excited to craft a premier streaming experience for Paramount+, with a specific focus on Monetization. Amongst other things, the Monetization team owns the “front door” of our experience focusing on converting users into paid subscribers throughout the purchase funnel, across all platforms. The right candidate will join a close-knit, highly functional team as it expands its A/B testing capabilities! Product Designers design across over 20 different supported experiences, from connected TVs, to mobile apps to web. Ideally you will be in the Burbank, CA or New York City, NY area. If not, we are open to a fully remote setup.

You are curious, inquisitive, biased towards action and deeply passionate about the outcomes of your work. You know that great design starts with understanding the problem. You are a designer whose work displays both pixel-level attention to detail and an acute understanding of broader usability paradigms. Someone who can transform complex concepts into simple, approachable experiences that are visually balanced, across any device. We want a great teammate who lives and breathes the interactive space.

Your day to day:

• Create pixel precise designs that are on brand and are crafted based on product requirements and partner input / feedback.
• Research the competitive landscape, build user flows and work towards product designs that take into consideration evolving functionality, technological innovation and their effects on the product and company revenue.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, product marketing and marketing to develop compelling solutions across multiple problem spaces like conversion and retention.
• Be an advocate for visual and functional consistency while also capitalizing on strategic opportunities to evolve our systems and interactions.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of product design experience.
Experience working with Figma.
Possess a strong UX and visual design sense, with an eye for simple, intuitive interfaces.
Experience quickly adapting to fast paced timelines and variable project requirements.
Proactively gather consensus from multiple internal partners and be able to change tasks quickly based on shifts in priorities or urgent deadlines.
Experience partnering with other designers and product and engineering orgs to deliver cutting edge design across the entire product lifecycle.
Ability to rapidly concept, ideate and implement multiple concepts.
An impressive portfolio that illustrates a deep understanding of functionality paired with a modern visual design sensibility. Any applicant without an online portfolio will not be considered.
Embraces the dynamic nature of software development.
Experience working in an agile context, where you have been a member of a delivery team in a product development environment; working closely with product owners, developers and QA.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - 110,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
