The Product Coordinator will be responsible for for fully understanding and supporting the department and company goals, policies and procedures to support the Prepress department. The Product Coordinator would be responsible for working with multiple departments to orchestrate ad placement and page counts throughout a multitude of products.

Product Coordinator Essential Job Functions (Full Description):

• Performs tasks in a safe and efficient manner, immediately addressing any safety issues or deficiencies that may arise.
• Gather information for each publication that can found in multiple places
• Plan each publication based on set parameters considering the editorial needs and percentage of advertising goal.
• Accommodate advertising placement requests and late ads to help achieve advertising revenue goals.
• Check Product plans for accuracy and proper ad placement.
• Be aware of advertising deadlines to build publications on time for editorial.
• Send plans to editorial and pre-press then update the plans with changes as they occur.
• Work together with advertising, editorial and prepress.
• Send report of daily plans for LNP to editorial, prepress and the press.
• Handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven, team environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Have the ability to help the prepress department with some design work in InDesign.
• Type Mailbox Markets into web forms.
• Proofing files understanding proofreader marks, checking spelling and grammar for accuracy.
• Actively participate in department strategy sessions.
• Stays abreast of trends, industry changes, technological and operational updates.
• Promotes positive working relationships among production, marketing and sales staffs.
• Projects a professional, positive and enthusiastic image while performing daily duties.
