Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Design robotic work cells for Circuit Board Manufacturing and Assemblies.
- Serve as the expert on industrial safety systems
- Assist with adoption, sustainment, and improvement of machines currently used by TTM AND integration of old machines into an integrated factory.
- Make recommendations to and assist program manager with adoption of new technologies.
- Provide feedback to plants and program manager on feasibility of automation projects and assist with planning for, development and implementation of the projects.
- Contribute to and lead working groups to assist with adoption of robotics and automation in TTM.
- Attend Industry Events and Training to both strengthen skillset and maintain technical advantage in automation.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience using industrial robots and PLCs.
- Ability to solve problems algorithmically.
- Proven ability to research and develop solutions independently and as part of a team with little initial guidance. Proven record as an autodidact through research, online courses, etc.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and synchronize efforts with the organization.
- Desire to work in and ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
- Experience with electrical enclosure design and build process with specific experience in one of more of the steps (design, build, test, troubleshoot)
- Ability to evaluate and adopt new tools and make recommendations for tools (both hardware and software)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; ability to present results clearly to all levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to ITAR regulations)
Education and Experience:
- Technical Degree focused in electronics, software, or robotics, followed by successful experience in the field OR SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE with design and build of electromechanical assemblies and devices.
