responsibilities:
- Perform audits of process control data and product quality data to improve process capability, reduce COPQ and improve equipment reliability.
- Manage the facility's heat treatment process library, aid with the development of new processes, update process parameters where required to maintain good statistical process control.
- Act as digitalization champion for the facility by institutionalizing the use of cutting-edge digital tools in heat treatment process engineering, production, quality and maintenance workflows.
- Perform calibration and verification of furnace instrumentation and pyrometry as required.
- Perform product metallurgical quality testing in support of R&D, project and production activities.
