This position reports directly to the North America Chief Privacy Officer and is intimately engaged in a multitude of projects to manage and reduce privacy and data security risks, and interfaces with multiple key stakeholders in IT, claims, legal and compliance, information security, and internal audit. This role can operate on a hybrid schedule out of any Chubb North America office location A remote opportunity may also be considered.

Job responsibilities:
F acilitate compliance with applicable laws regulating the use and protection of personal information, including CPRA, GLBA, FCRA, HIPAA, state insurance laws, and the company’s policies.

Provide advice on privacy and information security legislative, regulatory, and case law developments and facilitate the implementation of compliance initiatives.

Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to manage data privacy and protection risks associated with company initiatives.

Review and process Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in compliance with state privacy laws and regulations.

Facilitate programs to ensure data privacy and protection principles are applied throughout the design, development, and implementation of solutions.

W ork with IT and other key stakeholders to respond to data security incidents including advice on compliance with state, federal, and state insurance notification laws. Respond to customer and other inquiries on same.

Work with third-party risk management staff and corporate counsel on privacy and information security controls, including assisting in the drafting and negotiation of third-party service provider contracts.

Administrator of Privacy Management Software and North America metrics reporting.

Assist with privacy audits and regulatory examinations.

Assist in the development and implementation of privacy training and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
2+ years of related work experience.

Juris Doctorate and privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT is a plus.

Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects.

Strong project management and consultative skills.

Familiarity with OneTrust.

Superior proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and effectively report metrics.
