We are seeking a passionate systems analyst to support the development of an enterprise platform designed to automate business-critical processes. The systems analyst will have a strong background in digitization and ideally a good grasp of BPM and workflow technologies and how they enable great experiences for customers and associates alike.

Critical to the success is the ability to quickly gain an understanding of existing systems and work with business partners, leaders, and development teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.

The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles.

The Team

Advanced Process Solutions is an organization focused on workflow, digitization, and automation across Fidelity’s businesses. The focus of this role will be working with teams to provide systems analysis to identify business and system requirement necessary to support building Fidelity’s next generation Digital Automation Platform.

The Expertise You Have

  • 7- 8 years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
  • Proven experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general
  • Understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, Splunk and APIs preferred
  • Understanding of Java, NodeJS and Typescript desirable
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of scrum tools – Jira and Jira Align experience desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related technology discipline preferred
  • Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Experience working with capabilities and systems like AWS Step Functions, Camunda BPM, XTRAC, Salesforce.com and Appian are desirable
  • Experience working on enterprise platforms with a large customer base
  • Experience with projects that have a multi-regional footprint and high impact

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience writing clear and concise requirements, use cases, user flows and other artifacts in support of product development efforts

  • You understand how technology can automate business processes and can effectively propose, challenge, and engage in ideation with business and technology teams in formulating software designs and solutions
  • Good interpersonal and leadership and influencing skills (without direct authority of others)
  • Self-driven, self-managed, energetic, passionate, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results
