Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Rotational Program

These engineering roles are onsite positions that will rotate across various United States based locations every 8 months for 2 years! Length of response to applications can vary due to the recruiting and hiring process for the program.

If you are looking for a career adventure, the Professional Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering (PrIME) Rotation Program at Collins Aerospace is seeking motivated engineers with relevant engineering backgrounds to participate in Cohort 4!

The PrIME Rotational Program was developed to provide early career professionals with opportunity to:

  • Accelerate learning and career development

  • Gain exposure to manufacturing & industrial engineering (MEIE) leadership and challenging work assignments

  • Build networks and relationships

  • Develop and improve engineering and operations skills and business acumen

  • Expand Collins Aerospace product knowledge through hands-on learning

  • Program Details

Cohort 4 begins June 2024, with opportunities to start sooner

Two-year program consisting of 8-month rotations across various Collins Aerospace business units

Rotations will provide exposure to a variety of MEIE disciplines including, but not limited to:

  • Additive Design & Manufacturing

  • Digital Tools

  • Mechanical Transformation & Fabrication

  • Electronics and Mechanical Producibility

  • Test Equipment & Processes

  • Industrial Automation & Robotics

  • Individual development planning

  • Performance feedback during and after rotations

  • Strategic and onsite mentoring relationships

  • Exposure to high-profile and impactful projects

  • Active participation in networking and educational opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field

  • 5 years or less of industry experience (prior Collins Aerospace experience included)

  • Ability and willingness to travel and relocate throughout the course of the program

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
