The Pricing & Contracts Analyst will support McKesson Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services Group Purchasing Organization (“GPOs”) in the pharmaceutical contract negotiation and execution for Oncology and Multi-Specialty Clinic members.

Through a combination of fundamental data analysis, data visualizations, and reporting, the analyst will provide insights on topics such as:

• GPO contract performance and trends

• Pharma manufacturer segmentation and contracting strategy

• GPO value-add and Key Performance Indicator metric evaluation

• Physician reimbursement and clinical trends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support data-driven analyses that define, measure, and investigate current operational trends, financial trends, and strategic insights related to McKesson’s GPOs

• Partner with GPO Business Development Directors to prepare and participate in presentations for pharma manufacturer meetings

• Analyze new or amended contracting opportunities; identify new contracting opportunities

• Support GPO operational functions (i.e. internal/external reporting, monitor key performance indicators, etc.)

• Perform ad-hoc, data driven analyses

Minimum Requirements

• Typically requires 2+ years of relevant analyst experience

• Bachelors degree required

Critical Requirements

• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills

• Demonstrated proficiency analyzing and manipulating large data sets

• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent tasks

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations

• Must have high attention to detail and be able to deliver high quality and accurate outputs

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience using MS Office Suite; Strong proficiency in Excel

Additional Skills

• Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment

• Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment

• Pharma/Oncology knowledge and experience preferred but not required

• Tableau experience (preferred)
