Preschool Teachers - Immediate Openings

The Child Day Schools (TCDS) in Antioch seeks and welcomes fully qualified preschool teachers who can provide a positive, caring, nurturing, safe environment for early learners.

Full Time Teaching Positions Available
Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm

We are currently looking for committed, energetic educators to join our wonderful, friendly staff who value ongoing coaching and training, and who exhibit respect and professionalism in communications with children, parents and co-workers.

TCDS offers children a dynamic curriculum model, which includes both HighScope and the Emergent Curriculum (Project Webs). This unique curriculum provides children with developmentally appropriate, open-ended learning experiences, with actively engaged teachers.

Pay Range: $18 to $20 per hour

Requirements:
Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education Units (an AA or BA is preferred but not required)
6 Months Experience Preferred
Live Scan clearance
Current Immunizations and Health Report
CPR/First Aid Certified
Follows all health & safety practices for a clean and safe environment
Mandated Reporter Training completion
Understands Community Care Licensing regulations
Average or above average physical strength and mobility
Commitment to ongoing coaching and education in Early Childhood
