The Babs Siperstein PROUD Center is NJ s first LGBTQ+ healthcare facility opening its doors in January 2017. We provide adult primary and specialty services to the LGBTQ+ community including same day sick visits, hormone replacement therapy and PrEP.
The Practice Manager manages the daily operations of the Babs Sipertein PROUD Center. The position includes overseeing personnel, practice operations, billing, physician/patient scheduling and budget development. The Practice Manager ensures that policy and procedures are implemented promptly and efficiently. The Practice Manager collaborates with the Director, Physicians and other staff to provide an inclusive, safe environment for all patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related program preferred; in lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in practice management required.
- Minimum five years of experience in a medical office setting required
- Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience
- Must have a knowledge of insurance and medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with EPIC,ADP and Peoplesoft a plus
- Experience with and/or interest in LGBTQ+ health strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
