POWDER COAT TECHNICIAN
Friday, Saturday and Sunday
12 hour shift 6:00a-6:00p
WORK 36 PAID 40 HOURS
We are looking for an experienced Powder Coat Technician to join our team. The Powder Coat Technician will be responsible for preparing and coating metal parts with a powder coating process.
The Technician will need to be able to operate and maintain powder coating equipment in a safe manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare metal parts for coating, including sanding, degreasing, and masking. Load and unload parts into the powder-coating oven. Apply powder coating to parts using a spray gun. Inspect parts for quality and accuracy. Maintain and clean powder coating equipment. Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean. Follow all instructions and guidelines for the powder coating process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Powder Coat Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
