The Pattie Group, Inc. is looking for a Plant Healthcare Specialist who is familiar with all aspects of Plant Health Care work. Must utilize plant health care techniques and have superior knowledge of proper chemical/organic ornamental applications. The ideal candidate will excel in all areas of the landscape profession, including but not limited to; proper planting techniques, horticultural pruning, spring and fall clean-ups, and snow removal. They will also have exceptional plant knowledge, which will allow the individual to notice any pathological abnormalities associated with plants while on job sites. Communication and interaction with clients and co-workers are also essential elements of this position.

Hours: 40-50 hours per week in peak season; Monday - Friday with some Saturdays

Experience we're looking for:

• Must have enthusiasm for proper plant care and horticulture
• Knowledge of native Ohio plants and a willingness to learn and expand your plant knowledge
• Truck and trailer experience a must
• Have a proper pesticide applicator’s license or be willing to obtain (company expense)
• A degree in horticulture is a major plus
