Physicians Now Urgent Care Center is a State of the Art Urgent Care Center located in Rockville, Maryland. We are looking for skillful, enthusiastic, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practioners to join our awesome team. We have Full Time and Part Time positions available. We care for patients of all ages. We use current technology to enhance our patient care processes. These technologies include but are not limited to the use of electronic medical record, lab inter-phase systems, web-based patient and employee scheduling systems.

Minimum Required Qualifications for Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners:

• We require Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners with active Maryland license and in good standing in the State of Maryland.
• Our Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners are preferred to have an active DOT license or be in the process of obtaining one
• Minimum 1 to 2 years in Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• Active Advance Cardiac Life Support Licensure
• Active Basic Life Support Licensure
• Active NPI # Registration
• Active CDS and DEA licenses

Minimum Education:

• Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioners must have an AA, BA, BS, or MS in Physician Assistance & Nurse Practitioners Studies

Technical Skills:

• Part of the job title of our Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners is the ability to efficiently and comfortably perform routine patient evaluations, procedures, diagnoses, and interpretation of laboratory results and X-rays.
• Our Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners are also required to have healthy technical skills in suturing, I&D’s, fracture care, EKG interpretations.

Required attributes, skills, knowledge and abilities:

• Our Physicians Assistants & Nurse Practitioners are required to have healthy customer service attitude and great bedside manners
• Ease with use of electronic health record systems is required
• Above skills are required for the day to day functions of the Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioners

Responsibilities of Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioners:

• Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioners is responsible for proper and adequate patient care

Pay: $42.91 - $70.00 per hour
