The Physical Therapist functions as a member of the healthcare team. The purpose is to provide medically prescribed physical therapy programs in accordance with national standards and administrative policies of the hospital. The goal is to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery, or loss of a body part in order to allow the patient to perform to his/her maximum ability.

• The primary focus of this position is pelvic floor/women's health.
• The staff Physical Therapist is directly responsible to the director and/or his designee.
• Responsible for the overall direction, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in their areas of the physical therapy department/facility.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Physical Therapists perform assessments, establishes goals, performs therapy, assess progress and modifies treatment plan and goals based on need of patients including but not limited to neurological, orthopedic, general medicine, oncology and other specific disease requiring physical therapy intervention. Our therapists are passionate about setting the standard for patient-centered healthcare.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Louisiana State Licensed Physical Therapy
• May be a new grad without experience. Must be eligible for state licensure
• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy
