Core Health is not your ordinary physical therapy practice. Located in San Rafael, CA, our company helps seasoned physical therapists create their own company - from branding to accounting - so they can own their old business and be backed by a seasoned team of professionals.

Core Health was founded in 2022 by Tara McGann, DPT and Jeff Lo, CEO of a 25 year old multi-million dollar business and married to a PT. The problem: medical reimbursement rates have increased therapist workload and decreased the quality of patient care. Our solution: a cash pay only financial model, and a full bench of sales, marketing, local professional network, finance, accounting, real estate, tax, and strategy support. The outcome: sustainability and ease, higher PT compensation, ultimate flexibility, high level patient care, and amazing benefits only realized by owning a business.

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) Physical Therapist to pilot our program. We've built out 80% of the space and business model, and are looking for three (3) PT's to help refine it. The Physical Therapist will have 24-hour, key controlled access to the newly built Core Health clinic located in San Rafael, CA. Core Health will work in partnership with the Therapist to market, schedule, and support new patient business. A discounted, initial startup fee may apply, and thereafter Core Health is only paid after the Therapist is paid - we're in this together!

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The Physical Therapist will also be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans, educating patients and families on treatment plans, and providing support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment.

Additionally, for the pilot program, the Physical Therapist will commit to weekly meetings with the owners of Core Health to provide feedback and be given training on running their own business.

Qualifications

• Close proximity to San Rafael, CA
• 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Ability to assess and diagnose physical therapy needs
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Ability to document patient progress and outcomes
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Computer proficiency in relevant software applications
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $86,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
