Our New Richmond Walmart Pharmacy is looking for part-time help both during the day and on weekends. We are looking for reliable, friendly, and ready-to-learn individuals to join our pharmacy team. Currently hiring 2 part-time associates!

No previous pharmacy experience necessary!

You will be responsible for helping customers pick up prescriptions, filling prescriptions and typing medication orders. As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist in finding over the counter medications
• Process prescriptions electronically
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
• Sort, stock, and monitor medication inventory
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Basic mathematic knowledge

High School Diploma or equivalent required for state licensing.

• Pharmacy Training program available for on the job training (6-18 months) with a raise upon completion.
• Once completed will be able to sit for exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
