A pharmacy technician is responsible for accurately preparing prescriptions under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist. Also the pharmacy technician manager will assist the pharmacy manager with ensuring the day to day operations of the pharmacy are running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• With direction from the Pharmacist, prepare and dispense medications as ordered by prescribers by calculating, measuring and mixing ingredients in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure all prescriptions have been checked and certified by the pharmacist and strive for low wait times.
• Provide the utmost customer service, greeting patients in the pharmacy and on the phone. Ensure the rest of the team is also providing excellent customer service.

• Assist in management of drug & otc inventory and/or perform clinical services under the direction of a clinical pharmacist.
• Assist with keeping pharmacy clean & in order.
• Accountable for activities done by other technicians, making sure they follow guidelines set by the company as well as following all state and federal guidelines.
• Responsible for the training of new technicians, overseeing the schedule of the technicians, and managing projects given to fellow technicians.
• Be able to pass background check to become licensed with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
• Willing to study and pass test to become a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to work as a team with excellent communication skills.
• We are a face paced, growing company, applicants will be expected to comply with any government, healthcare and company Covid 19 rules and regulations.

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, some lifting may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
