Paws and Play Pet Resort & Training Center, one of New York’s most exciting pet care businesses is looking for a positive pet care supervisor who can supervise a staff of 3-7 in a busy environment. The position will report to the owner and managers of the business.

Requirements:

*Must love dogs and have a positive attitude! *Strong Leadership and communication skills is needed to lead the staff and work with managers. *Detail orientated and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. *Candidates MUST have experience in the pet care industry (dog kennels, dog daycare, dog grooming, dog training, veterinarian hospital). *Must be available to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. *Minimum 1 year supervisory experience. *Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:

*Maintaining our high standards of pet care by following our policies and procedures. *Holding dog lodging, daycare and grooming staff accountable for our policies and procedures. *Interacting with dogs and their owners. *Medication disbursement and feeding. *Maintaining cleanliness of our facility. *Keeping inventory of supplies.
