Personal Support Companion-Job Coach (American Sign Language) (Myersville, MD)

Description: Personal Support Companion and Job Coach needed to assist a deaf young man work on independent skills in the home, such as laundry, cooking, meal planning, and budgeting. Must also have Job Coaching experience. Client also enjoys spectator sports such as football and basketball and exploring activities in the community.
Basic Qualifications: Candidate must be fluent in American Sign Language, but able to hear. Friendly caring person experienced and comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must have clean Background check results, vaccinated for COVID-19, current CPR/First Aid certificates, a reliable car, valid driver’s license, and car insurance.

Personal Support Services: 21 Hours Per Week (Evenings & Weekends) (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday)
Community Development Services: 30 Hours Per Week (Monday-Friday)

Compensation: $35.00 Per Hour
