PART TIME****Every other Weekend 9:30a-5:30p***

Looking for a compassionate, dependable and proactive individual to provide in home support in Prince William, VA

This is a part time position with the possibility of increased hours.

A minimum of 6 months experience working with people with disabilities and/or aging. However, we are willing to train the right person. Experience with individuals with dementia is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to work legally in the United States
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Job duties include but not limited to:

• Monitor the person being supported to ensure safety in all aspects of their lives (medical, health, behavioral)
• Ensure that person being supported rights and dignity are respected.
• Assist the person being supported with their personal care such as; toileting, feeding, showering, grooming, etc.
• Drive personal vehicle to transport persons supported to activities, doctor appointments, their families house, etc.
• Promote community inclusion, self-determination and self-sufficiency in those being supported through personal interactions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• On call
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
