**This is a part-time position. You will be required to work 2-3 days a week, 8 hours per day. Starting pay is $27/hour.**
Working independently at the customer’s site under general supervision, you will be responsible for implementation of Clean Earth’s waste management program and you’ll serve as liaison among Clean Earth and the customer.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Provide guidance to onsite personnel regarding correct segregation and profiling of consumer product waste
- Maintain waste accumulation and storage areas in audit-ready condition – containers labeled correctly, in good condition, proper signage
- Assist with scheduling for pickups and deliveries of waste shipments, arrange third-party witnessing at disposal facilities
- Assure proper identification and segregation of hazardous and non-hazardous material before assigning to a shipment.
- Complete shipping paperwork and labels for outbound waste trucks.
- Oversee the loading of trailers for waste shipments, ensuring correct container counts and weights to match to manifest
- Retain annual RCRA/DOT training requirements as specified by Clean Earth to meet the above requirements

Basic Required Qualifications
You must have either a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in the waste management industry OR, in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in the waste management industry. In either case, you must have working knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management and/or client relations.
- Experience in hazardous waste management, including preparation of labels and shipping paperwork.
- Experience scheduling hazmat transporters/carriers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams.
- Experience using an order entry system (Oracle ideal).
- Verbal communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of staff at the customer site and within Clean Earth.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Physically able to traverse large facility with busy forklift traffic, through narrow aisles, and ability to access locked fenced areas.
- Visual acuity to read labels and documents, and to perform compliance inspections of container storage areas.
- Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, and safety vest.
- Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers.
