Your responsibilities will include assistance with:
- Support stormwater infrastructure improvements and rehabilitation design
- Support the design analysis through application of quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques
- Support in the preparation of construction documents (plans and specifications)
- Support cost-benefit analyses
- Conduct H&H analysis and modeling
- Perform writing assignments to contribute to project documentation and deliverables such as memos and reports
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in biological/agricultural engineering (or a related field)
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) certification in the State of North Carolina with 15-20 years of relevant engineering experience
- Demonstrated educational and relevant work experience showing strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong background in stormwater design and/or watershed management
- Extensive background in onsite wastewater planning and design
- Proficiency with H&H models, such as HEC-RAS and/or SWMM
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
