Position Summary

The Part Marking Technician is an integral member of the team responsible for planning and conducting activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of manufacturing processes, materials and products.

Essential Functions

This role will be instrumental in driving Aero Gear’s success in the implementation of quality improvements in the Quality organization, internally and externally.

• Perform part marking and hardness testing per work instructions.
• Advise on and create setup instructions for marking layouts and design programs.
• Record results per work instructions.
• Participate in improvement activities.

Experience and Education

• Has worked in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Pryor MarkMaster, Traceable-IT Software and Microsoft Office a plus.

• Familiar with applying aerospace part marking is preferred.

• Ability to read and complete required process documents (travelers, routers, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation

$35000 - $60000 / year

Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
