We are searching for a motivated and experienced Temporary Summer Painter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Temporary Summer Painter you will be responsible for providing quality painting for apartment units that are being turned. You will be expected to use a variety of painting techniques and tools to complete projects in a timely fashion and according to company specifications. • Benefits: 401k program, Seattle Sick and Safe Time leave
• Wage: $49 per hour
• Schedule: FT, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm (exact hours are flexible)

A Day in the Life

• 
  Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and patching holes
• Paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and trim
• Apply primer, sealer, and other coatings as needed
• Utilize ladders and scaffolding to reach high walls and ceilings
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Keep accurate records of painting projects, including paint colors and quantities used
• Follow safety protocols, including using protective gear
• Follow instructions from supervisors and complete painting projects efficiently
• Remove old paint from surfaces and fill cracks and holes

Job Requirements

• At least two years of experience in painting
• Ability to work well with a team
• Ability to work long hours in the summer months
• Ability to use a variety of painting tools and techniques
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to painting
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
